Milagros

Located right in the heart of Laureles’ dining scene, this Mexican restaurant is an all-time favorite to many foodies. With its extensive menu, it’s a great spot whenever you’re craving Mexican food. All the classics are on the menu, but if you’re not into burros, tacos, or nachos, there is a whole section of unique dishes to choose from such as crispy fried chicken covered in tomato sauce and a tomahawk steak with parmesan. But overall, Milagros is about Mexican comfort food. One of my favourite dishes to order is the sharing platter, as you have a little bit of everything that you can devour at your own pace together, while watching the world go by in the middle of Laureles.

Tacada Milagrosa (109,000 COP)

This is my standard order at Milagros, which is a sharing platter with eight tortillas, sala taquera, guacamole, sour cream, minced beef, pico de Gallo, mozzarella cheese, and black bean spread. This platter is for two persons, but there are larger platters available too. You can also change or add ingredients, such as chicharron, pulled pork, and pulled chicken.

María Encantada (48,500 COP)

María Encantada (48,500 COP)

This is one of the not-so-standard options, which is crispy fried chicken that comes with a tasty tomato-based sauce and is topped with melted cheese. A great option if you’re not in the mood for tacos, tortillas, burros or nachos.
