Mi Arepa - Unicentro

If you think arepas are boring then you haven’t visited Mi Arepa before. Here, you can find richly filled arepas with all sorts of typical ingredients from the region. There are twenty different stuffings to choose from, ranging from an arepa with garlicky prawns to an area with shredded beef and black beans. And aside from the arepas, you can also order patacones and quesadillas that are fully stuffed too. For a quick and satisfying bite, head over to one of the branches in Medellin. But make sure that you’re hungry because these arepas are incredibly filling!

Note: there are six branches in Medellin, namely in LA 80, Unicentro, Palmas, Leon XIII, Bello, and Copacabana.

Arepa Ranchera (14,500 COP)*

My personal favorite arepa here, completely filled with all sorts of fried sliced sausage, shredded beef, bacon, cheese, and their signature sauce. One of their bestsellers and you can’t go wrong with this tasty version.

Arepa de la Casa (16,500 COP)

This is the signature arepa that is stuffed with shredded meat, bacon, chorizo, crispy fried pork belly, fried banana, beans, cheese, and avocado. It’s also finished with their delicious homemade dressing. Incredibly tasty and filling!
