This small restaurant located in Laureles is a bit of a hidden gem. From the outside, the restaurant does not look that inviting, but they serve super tasty coastal food. That means that you can eat fried fish with coastal coconut rice, but also Cazuela de Mariscos, a creamy one-pot stew. If you’re looking for something local and unique, and you’re a seafood enthusiast, you are in for a treat!

Cazuela Camaron Gratinada (40,000 COP)*
This Cazuela de Mariscos, a creamy seafood stew with prawns, has to be my favorite in Medellin. The reason for that is because this version is gratinated with a very gentle cheese. The seafood stew comes with patacones and coconut rice. For those who haven’t tried coconut rice before, it’s something that coastal gastronomy is known for, and it’s a must-try. Do yourself a favor and have a nice meal at this local eatery in Laureles.

Pescado Frita - Snapper (29,500 COP)
At this restaurant, you can choose between a variety of fish for each dish. A Pescado Frita is simply a fried fish, and I opted for the snapper (Pargo). In Colombia, the fried fish is already carved in a certain way so that you can eat the fish with your hands.
