The village is split into two parts, the old town and the newer beachfront side, connected by a tunnel.
The old town has plenty of charm with its pastel buildings, narrow alleys, and old-school trattorias.

Monterosso has the most accommodation options, including actual hotels with amenities like pools, air conditioning, and even elevators.
That makes it ideal for families, older travelers, or anyone who doesn’t want to haul their luggage up and down endless steps.

There’s more going on here after dark compared to the other villages.
